I set this site up for two reasons; (1.) I am a history buff (see below), and (2.) I have a variety of items of which you may have some interest. These include photos of old Allendale County, people and places.

Allendale County (History Section)

I am a history buff and my main interest is in the history of Allendale County in South Carolina. This is only natural, for I was born here and lived my entire life in Allendale County. I started this site in 1994 with some old pictures and some history of Allendale County. Since that time it has grown somewhat!

In the last year I started another sight, The Allendale County Web . The "County Web" is a site that is mainly a forum for and about Allendale County, it's residents and it's natives. There was a photo gallery there with over 1,000 pictures dealing with the history and people in and originally from Allendale County.  Currently theyare moved to this site.  Check the menu for  photo itemss.
