I set this site up for two reasons;  (1.) I am a history buff (see below), and (2.) I have a variety of items of which you may have some interest.  These include photos of old Allendale County, people and places.

Allendale County (History Section)

I am a history buff and my main interest is in the history of Allendale County in South Carolina.  This is only natural, for I was born here and lived my entire life in Allendale County.  I started this site in 1994 with some old pictures and some history of Allendale County. Since that time it has grown somewhat!

In the last year I started two other sights, The Allendale County Web and The Allendale County Citizen.  The "County Web" is a site that is mainly a forum for and about Allendale County, it's residents and it's natives.  There is also a photo gallery there with over 1,000 pictures dealing with the history and people in and originally from Allendale County.
